The Authors for Justice: Dialogues That move Us brings together authors whose work explores justice, identity, equity, and the lived experiences of marginalized communities. Through public forums, these dialogues center literature as a catalyst for empathy, understanding, and social change.

Previous authors the J.C. Tamno Scholars met includes Congressman John Lewis, who shared his journey leading the civil rights movement through his book March: Book 3 and each scholar recieved a signed copy from Congressman Lewis.

Each Authors for Justice event invites students, educators, families, and community members into meaningful dialogue with authors who write to move us—toward action, toward healing, and toward one another.
